Bio:

Nikki Berejkoff is a former elementary teacher who knew everything about children until she had four of her own, two with diverse abilities and significant emotional and behavioral challenges. One of her son’s many needs resulted in an extensive journey through navigating various systems of care, leading Nikki to become an advocate for her son as well as her other children. She is now embarking on a similar journey for another son. All her children are too smart for their own good and could make excellent court lawyers if they so wish.

During this journey, Nikki has had the privilege of supporting others going through life challenges, especially related to youth with diverse abilities. No stranger to trauma, Nikki now believes that “what doesn’t kill you makes you resilient and kind of crazy.” Nikki has been the Executive Manager of Samara Learning Center for over two years and is currently transitioning to becoming a Collaborative and Proactive Solutions® and ERETH© Trainer with her Peer Support certification.

Nikki also works with clients as a dog behaviorist to bring harmony back to the canine and human relationship, creating understanding and empowerment to dog owners, and balance and happiness to fur babies. Nikki can be seen frantically driving her kids around town trying to remember where she was and where she is going as she strives to understand how to live in the now.
